JOB DUTIES/ THE ROLE: Reporting to the CEO and working closely with
the Executive Management Team, the Head of Homeless & Community
Services plays a pivotal role in achieving key objectives from the
Dublin Simon Community Rolling Strategic Plan, **Apply on the
website** and beyond. ?
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery
of service operations, staff management, relationship management,
change management, and systems and processes operating to quality
standards with a view to creating positive outcomes for those
experiencing homelessness.
Performance will be reviewed against; agreed objectives and scorecard
delivery, the willingness and ability to respond to change and leading
through the values of the organisation.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS/ THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will bring a
blend of communication, people and leadership skills together with
experience of strategic planning, advocacy, financial and operational
management. This role requires a leader who will collaborate and build
strategic partnerships, demonstrating tenacity and a commitment to
client centered care, and will be credible with the Executive
Management Team and key partners e.g. Local Authorities, Government
Departments and funders. The successful candidate will have
significant experience in the delivery of services in the homeless or
related sectors, as well and a through understanding of the complex
range of needs of homeless people and effective responses.
Dublin Simon Community seeks an inspirational, passionate and
compassionate leader to join the Executive Leadership Team who
embodies dignity in provision of services to people experiencing
homelessness who access clinical and therapeutic service. This is a
pivotal leadership appointment in organisation.??
